Lamb

This was a delightful home cooked meal. The lamb was done in a teflon griller with rosemary, pepper and salt. The mash potatoes were very galicky and the salad was fresh and tasty!

Sichuan Food - China Star

Rice gluten - very flavorful and hot!  Unfortunately, the gluten is rather bland.  It is a cold dish.

This soup is one of the best Chinese homestyle soups we've ever had.  The flavor and depth of the soup suggests that it's been simmering for a while, extracting the goodness from the pork ribs.

Sauteed filet of fish. The color is wonderful and the filets were very tender.  However, the dish is hot and numbing on the tongue.

This is a lamb dish from northwestern China. It comes in a mini wok of sorts with a sterno flame to keep the dish sizzling.  Tumeric is a very noticeable ingredient.

Princess Pigs' Feet.  I know that the description is a turn off but it looks good despite the dish title.

Full Kee - Dinner For 10

Full Kee Meal

Standard Cold platter. Uh not exactly my favorite except for the jelly fish.

Soup - shrimp, melon and something - pretty good.

Shrimp and walnuts with kind of a mayo sauce - sweet.  Very good but we know that the mayo sauce isn't really good for you, do we?

Standard boiled chicken - or Hainanese chicken.

This was by far the most sophisticated and well done dish.  Smoky and filled with flavor. The squid was just superb.  The tofu needed to absorb more flavor - tough to pull off.

Steamed fish - Tilapia we believe.

Cantonese lobster - cannot be beat.

This is supposed to be abalone with mushrooms but we felt they snuck in some mushrooms that looked and had some texture close to the abalone.

And finally dessert - red bean sweet soup

Korean Dessert - Bing Soo

Green tea ice cream with mochi and honeydew melon on bottom.  Shaved ice and some condensed milk flavored with green tea?  Delish for some of the people.

"Chinese Cold Noodles"

This is a Japanese dish which is concoction of ingredients that is thrown together with ramen noodles. This Chinese cold noodles was designated as such apparently with Chinese immigrants to Japan. News to me but this specific dish consists of sliced cucumbers, mushrooms, lettuce, bean sprouts, ham and fish cake.
